In short: we use your Google sign-in to save your scores and show leaderboards. We collect only what the test needs. We do not sell your data or show ads. You can download or delete everything at any time from My history → Your account & data.

Your consent record (date and notice version) Your acceptance of this notice To show that we have your consent

We do not collect your phone number, precise location, contacts, or anything from your Google account beyond your name, email address and picture. We do not use advertising trackers or analytics cookies. Your browser stores a sign-in token so that you stay signed in.

Anonymous usage counts. To improve the service and see where visitors drop off, the site records simple events: a page was opened, a “Start test” button was pressed (and in which part of the page), sign-in was completed, the reminder offer was shown or used, or the Pro page or checkout was opened. Each event carries the page address (without anything after “?” or “#”), the website you came from (its domain only, e.g. google.com), a campaign tag if the link had one (utm_source), whether you are signed in, and a random number that is kept only while the browser tab is open. Events are stored with the time rounded to the hour and without your name, email address, IP address or account ID, and are deleted after 90 days. If your browser sends a Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal, none of these events are recorded. Separately, Cloudflare, our host, counts page views and page speed without cookies (this does not depend on Do Not Track).

3. Basis for processing

We process your data on the basis of your consent, which you give before your first test. You can withdraw consent at any time by deleting your account. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing that happened before it.

4. Who can see your data

Your data is stored outside India with these providers, under their security and data-processing terms. We will follow any restrictions the Government of India notifies under Section 16 of the Act.

5. How long we keep it

We keep your data while your account exists. If you delete your account, your profile, answers and scores are erased immediately. Reports you made are kept without your name, so that question corrections remain on record. Records of Pro payments (plan, amount, date, payment ID and the email used) are kept for 8 years because Indian tax law requires it, even if you delete your account. If you do not sign in for 3 years, we may delete your account. Security logs (IP address, device and activity times) are deleted automatically after 90 days, and immediately if you delete your account.

6. Your rights

7. Age

This service is meant for UPSC aspirants aged 18 or older. Do not use it if you are under 18.

8. Security

Data travels over HTTPS. Access in the database is restricted row by row, so each aspirant can read only their own records. Answer keys stay on the server until you submit. To protect our explanations from bulk copying, we watch for use that no person could produce by hand (for example opening hundreds of explanations in an hour, or using a script instead of a browser). Such accounts may be paused automatically for a limited time, or blocked after review; you can write to us if you think this happened by mistake. If a personal data breach occurs, we will inform affected users and the Data Protection Board as the law requires.

9. Changes to this notice

If we make a material change, we will update the version date above and ask you to accept the new notice before your next test.
